Oblivion trailer + poster!

Sunday, December 9th, 2012

I’m finally able to post a real update on this project that I’ve been working on for the past 3+ years! I started doing illustrations for the graphic novel back in ‘09, and once the movie adaptation happened I was fortunate to be brought on as a concept artist. This has been an amazing journey and I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some of the absolute best in the industry. Today the first trailer was finally released!

I was also very flattered to have Joseph Kosinski and Universal ask me to do this teaser poster!

That’s it for now, stay tuned for more updates!

Telikos Protocol

Sunday, July 22nd, 2012

I wanted to give a shout out to a very special project – I’m a co-founder of Vanquish Interactive, a company that is currently producing a graphic novel called Telikos Protocol, written by Peter Cooper and illustrated by an amazing concept artist called Adam Burn.

Right now the guys are finalizing the first issue, and in order to get funds for this venture we’ve started a kickstarter page that has exceeded our expectations! Telikos Protocol was just named the Editor’s #1 Top Pick on Kickstarter and it’s already raised $25000, which is incredible in such a short period of time. You can get a lot of cool stuff as a backer, as well as making sure Adam and Peter can start working on the upcoming volumes, so if you’re interested in amazing art and cool sci-fi stories you should definitely check it out!

You can also connect via Facebook

On a more personal note, I’m currently working on a couple of very exciting projects for Blur Studio that I can’t wait to showcase. I’m also doing post production work on Oblivion for Universal, as well as additional promo art for Wasteland 2. So needless to say it’s been a busy and creative summer! Fortunately, it’s been raining for the past two months here in Sweden, so focusing on the job hasn’t been too hard.

Oh well, back to work!

Lägesrapport!

Monday, April 9th, 2012

So it’s been a while since I posted anything and I apologize for not being more active. I recently came back from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I’ve been working in the Art department for Joseph Kosinski’s ‘Oblivion’, the upcoming sci-fi epic starring Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman among others. A truly awesome experience! And yes, it is the same Oblivion you might’ve heard me mentioned over the past few years, based on the graphic novel I illustrated for Joe and Radical Comics back in 2009/10 (still yet to be released), so needless to say it’s a special project to me. The movie comes out in April 2013.

While I’m not at liberty to discuss a lot of the cool stuff I have coming up, I’m happy to share this piece of work I did recently for Brian Fargo and his sequel to ‘Wasteland’ (I will post the high-res version here soon). It’s a great honor to help visualize the world of Wasteland 2, even if I was a bit nervous at first when I saw the numbers on Kickstarter! I want to thank everyone for their encouragement and support so far, and will do my very best to help Brian create a visually appealing sequel. The game itself is bound to kick ass btw, just look at the rest of the team!

Prints!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

Greetings from sunny Las Vegas! I’m happy to announce that I now have a small selection of prints available at WallArtRockers.com! Now, these prints are not your ordinary prints, they’re big acrylic panels with aluminium wall fixings and they look amazing! I realize that these are somewhat pricey but I really wanted the best possible quality, and when WallArtRockers came to me with this idea I was sold right away!

This is obviously still in its infancy, so I’ll make sure to keep you all posted as we expand our galleries and printing options.

In other news I’m busy as ever, which would explain my lack of updates. However, I have plenty of stuff to show you in due time so keep an eye out! Now it’s time to jump on a plane and get back home to Sweden.

See ya soon!

Prints

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

I’ve gotten a few requests about prints and I’m looking into possible solutions for this. There are just a few things I need to work out before this could happen, but I’ll let you know as soon as I make prints available.

So, what’s new?

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

Welcome to my new home! Don’t forget to subscribe to the site’s RSS so you don’t miss any updates! Once the NDA runs out on certain projects this place will be updated with tons of new stuff.

First of all, a huge thanks to the creator of this site, David Boni, and his helping hand Carson Perrotti. Awesome, awesome job guys!

For those of you who don’t know this my main project is still Oblivion, Joseph Kosinskis graphic novel and sci-fi feature. The book will contain 40-50 illustrations painted by me over the course of more than a year. You’ll most certainly recognize my style in most of these images, but a lot of them will be very different from what I usually paint. I will keep you updated on this.

Right now I’m also working on a project with the very talented team at RealtimeUK. More info on this soon.

And finally, I’m very proud and honoured to have a special painting I did featured in Dan Luvisi’s book LMS (Last Man Standing), set to be released this summer. Be sure to check this book out, I guarantee you you will love it. http://www.lms-killbook.com/

And speaking of books, I’m also pleased to announce that I have a lengthy article about the creation of one of my robot paintings in the upcoming “Digital Art Masters: Volume 5″, also due this summer. The DAM volumes are pure gold for any aspiring artist, filled with tons of nice art and well-written articles.

That’s it for now, more updates to come!

We’re live, finally!!
